About this gig
Welcome to my Scientific/Wildlife illustration Gig!
I'm in love with art studies, learning, researching and contributing to science. Anatomy, taxonomy and evolution are key subjects for any artist who paints from nature or creates imaginative grounded images. With this Gig I want to honor the fact that my first published artworks were scientific illustrations; coworking with scientists and museographers gave me lots of tools for my everyday art.
My whole experience has taken place here, in Colombia; now thanks to this platform I can go Worldwide! I feel so excited and hungry for new subject matters! Please check the gallery to see some of my work on the PDFs. Due to the very specific needs of every study, we can arrange custom requests not included on the packages, so please contact me before placing any order. I will deliver a single organism line art drawing for $10 USD.

Illustration process:
- Getting client's request and info.
- Researching photo and video references.
- Sketching raw studies.
- Line art work and composition.
- Setting gray values.
- Overpainting colors and effects.

I'm an autonomous Artist originally educated as a Publicist back in 2003. I've had lots of commission experiences since, mainly on the scientific/wildlife illustration, advertising and concept art fields. I love digital painting and vector drawing techniques, but I also use traditional art media often. I will enjoy making figurative studies from nature or designing fantastic creatures, mechas and environments for you. ¡Hoping to enrich your project!

FAQ
Can you illustrate other subjects besides animals?
Yes. I can also make studies from microscopic biology, botany, medicine and human anatomy, natural history and paleoart, geology and astronomy. Contact me and I will set a custom offer depending of the field.
Can you do infographics, diagrams and manuals?
I love to design those, but the techniques and styles required for it aren't featured on this Gig. Realistic drawing and painting only.
