I will build your pricing, margin and break even model in excel
Excel models for budgets, cash flow and KPIs, built from your figures
About this Gig
You get an Excel model built from your own prices and unit costs. For each product or service it shows what a sale leaves you after its costs, and how much you need to sell to cover your costs, in sales and in units. Everything is delivered in English or French, as you choose.
It is made for the owner of a shop, a restaurant, a workshop or a small agency who has to set a price, judge a discount or see what eats the margin. Every figure in the model is yours; we do not recommend values. The decisions stay yours.
You fill in a form: prices, cost per unit, usual monthly volumes, monthly fixed costs in totals and selling fees. We build the model, test it with your figures and deliver it with a one-page guide.
You also get a note, "What your numbers show": 3 key points with Basic, a one-page note with Standard and Premium. It describes what the model gives with your figures. The decisions stay yours.
It is a working tool for you, the owner. We do not prepare documents meant to be handed to outside parties.
We build Excel tools only. The figures are yours: we do not check or correct them, and you enter and update them yourself.

FAQ
What is in each package?
Basic: 2 products or services, cost and margin of each, break even in sales and units, 3 key points. Standard: 4 lines (one per product and channel), selling fees per channel, break even, 1 scenario, 1-page note. Premium: 6 lines, 2 scenarios, your target result and the gap to it, 1-page note.
Can we work in French?
Yes. The workbook, the guide and the note are delivered in English or French, as you choose, and you can write to us in either language. Oui, nous travaillons aussi en français : classeur, guide et note.
What is the "What your numbers show" note?
A note that reads your finished model with your own figures: 3 key points with Basic, one page with Standard and Premium. It describes what the model gives, such as the product with the lowest margin or the break even point. It never says what to do: the decisions stay yours.
What goes in the fixed costs?
Any monthly cost you want counted, as one total per line: rent, subscriptions, energy. The model adds up what you type; we do not judge the amounts.
Do you work out our unit costs, or need documents?
No. You give the cost per unit, already priced (purchases or materials, packaging, time spent), and your monthly costs as totals. We need no documents or invoices, and we take the figures as you give them.
What is the break even point?
The amount you need to sell in a month for your sales to cover all your costs, in sales and in units. The model works it out from your prices, unit costs, fixed costs and selling fees.
Does it work for a business that has just started?
Yes, for your own use. Start from your own estimates and change them as you learn: the model recalculates. We take the estimates as you give them and do not check them.
Do you keep the model updated?
No. We deliver the model and a one-page guide; you keep and update it yourself. An extra product or scenario is a new order.
