What can do from the mit scratch app?
Scratch is a visual programming language that allows students to create their own interactive stories, games development and animations.
What you will cover in MIT Scratch/Scratch Jnr?
I will teach how to create interactive animated stories, talk shows, Coding and game development using all the blocks of motion. looks, sounds, events, controls, operators and variables.
What programming languages do you teach?
I teach Scratch programming for younger kids and Tinkercad for design skills and in addition Basics of Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, unity for older kids.
What age group is suitable for these lessons?
These lessons are designed for kids aged 5-16 years old. However, I can customize the approach based on the child's individual learning needs and interests.
What software or tools will my child need?
For block coding, we typically use platforms like Scratch programming, Blockly, mit inventor, Code Combat, or similar beginner-friendly tools. For 3D designing, Tinkercad is often used, which is free and accessible online. I can provide guidance on setting up these tools if needed.
Are the sessions conducted online or in-person?
All sessions are conducted online on Zoom or Google Meet for 45 min to 60 min to provide flexibility and convenience for your family's schedule. This also allows your kid to learn from the comfort of home while receiving personalized instruction.
