Need help making sense of your DNA matches?
My name is Meabh and I'm a university-qualified genealogy researcher based in Ireland. I combine DNA match analysis with traditional records research to help you understand what your matches reveal about your family tree.
Important: You must already have DNA results from a testing company (e.g. Ancestry, 23andMe, MyHeritage). For full analysis I'll need access to your match list I'll send simple step-by-step instructions once your order begins.
How my packages work:
- Basic your matches from one testing site sorted into clusters mapped to your grandparent lines
- Standard clusters plus your family tree checked against the DNA evidence
- Premium full analysis, researching your strongest matches to identify common ancestors
Matches from a second testing site can be added to any package.
Searching for biological family? Please message me before ordering so I can review your case and make sure I'm the right fit.
My standards: I will never contact your matches or relatives on your behalf, and I cannot assist in locating living people. DNA evidence is interpreted honestly I'll show you what it supports, what it doesn't, and where to go next.

Do I need to have taken a DNA test already?
Yes. You'll need existing results from a testing company such as Ancestry, 23andMe, MyHeritage or FamilyTreeDNA. I work with your results - I don't arrange testing.
Will you need access to my DNA results?
Yes. Reviewing your matches properly requires access to your match list - for every package. On Ancestry you can add me as a Collaborator; other platforms have similar sharing options. It only takes a minute, and I'll send simple step-by-step instructions once your order begins.
Which testing company do you recommend?
If you haven't tested yet, Ancestry has the largest database and typically produces the most useful matches. If you've tested elsewhere, those results are still well worth analysing.
Can you help me find my biological parents or family?
Possibly - but please message me before ordering. Unknown parentage cases vary enormously, so I review each one first to confirm I'm the right fit and to quote properly. I'll be honest with you about what's realistic.
Can you guarantee what you'll find?
No honest researcher can. DNA evidence varies from case to case. What I guarantee is rigorous analysis: I'll show you what your matches support, what they don't, and the most promising next steps.
Will you contact my DNA matches?
Never. I will not contact your matches or relatives on your behalf, and due to privacy laws I cannot assist in locating living people.
What does my included revision cover?
Corrections, clarifications or re-wording of your delivered report and charts. It doesn't include re-analysis of matches, additional clusters or further research - extra analysis hours are available as a gig extra.
My matches are Irish - can you help with the records side?
es, that's my speciality. I'm based in Ireland with particular expertise in Irish records, so if your clusters lead back to Ireland, I can take the research further than DNA alone allows.
