Congratulations! After countless hours of creative fervor, you've written your very own D&D or TTRPG adventure. But it's not over. Whether you're planning on crowdfunding on a platform like Kickstarter, or printing it for your own personal use, your next step is to hire me to proof and edit your copy.
I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons for over 10 years, and writing creatively for over 20. I have 5 years of agency-level copywriting and editing skills. In short, the perfect combination of nerd and expert to polish your campaign to a sparkling shine!
I WILL:
- Proofread for spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Use an existing style guide (e.g. Adventurer's League) to tidy up formatting
- Provide light sentence structure rewrites and make small creative additions (standard)
- Write narrative descriptions for people, places, and items (premium)
- Identify plot holes and character inconsistencies
- Make your text ready for layout!
I WILL NOT:
- Write the campaign for you
- Communicate with printer or design services

FAQ
Have you been a DM/GM before?
Yes! I ran a 16-month campaign I wrote myself, as well as a handful of shorter adventures. I've even co-GMed - but that's a whole story in and of itself.
Do you use style guides?
Yes! I have the most recent D&D House Style Guide and Pathfinder 2 Style Guide which I use for the vast majority of my editing projects. It really gives the adventure that professional edge! I also provide a copy of the basic style rules I end up using to all my clients.
Are you familiar with other TTRPG systems?
Yes. I've worked with Pathfinder, Starfinder, Star Wars: SAGA, Daggerheart, Shadowdark, and a few other smaller indie games. I'm most comfortable with Dungeons and Dragons 5e (both 2014 and 2024), but if you're working with other systems, I'm a rule nut and love learning new systems, so let's talk.
What is your experience with editing longer modules/campaigns?
I frequently work with modules that are 250 pages long and take adventurers from level 1 to level 10. If your campaign is similar in length, please message me and we can sort out the details of your gig together. (I love big projects!)
What programs and file formats do you use?
I'm exceptionally familiar with Microsoft Word (.doc and .docx) and Google Docs. If for some reason you've composed your copy in a spreadsheet, I'm good with those too. Please message me if you've used a different program to draft and need to maintain file formats for printing purposes.
What agency experience do you have?
I've been a copywriter, proofreader, and editor in the marketing industry for over 5 years.
