I will copy edit your fiction or nonfiction book or short story

If you would like an edit that focuses on the details at a sentence and word level, you need a line edit. If you would like a standard edit for things like spelling and grammar, you need a copy edit. If you want a second round of edits to polish off your book, you need a proofread.

Yes, I can edit .doc, .docx, .pages, and .pdf files. With .pdf files, I am, however, limited to only leaving comments in the document where changes need to be made, which means you will have to manually make all of the changes afterward. If you have any questions, please contact me.

I do all of my edits manually myself, relying on my years of experience and education. I do, however, use a spelling/grammar check at the very end before I return the manuscript to you. But even then, I decide which edits to make and which edits to ignore because software isn't 100% reliable.

Yes, I can format books for print or for ebooks. Please see my formatting gigs for more information and for prices or contact me for a custom quote.

Yes, I have had experience editing British English, and I will edit to retain all British English spellings. When placing your order, please let me know that is what you need. Otherwise, I will assume you want American English spelling.
