They say don't judge a book by its cover, but you can definitely judge one by the sales pitch. One of the most important components of effective book marketing is coming up with the right sales copy. After all, when you're browsing through the aisles of a store or adding books to your cart online you typically aim for the books with a synopsis that gives you just enough to crave more.
The right sales copy aims to grab the reader's attention with an engaging headline and a fun pitch that won't outright spoil the book (think movie trailers that give away the whole film). You want just enough of a lead-in that will make a reader want to crack open the book and dive in on their way to the register. With my knowledge of genre fiction and the right hooks for each audience, I can write a sales copy that utilizes SEO to find your ideal readers!
Note: I will not accept AI-generated stories (intellectual property theft). During the pre-booking conversation, I will ask if your work is AI-generated; answer honestly. If at any point I detect significant AI generation, I will cancel the gig due to the violation of the gig's terms and conditions.

Can I pay for extra words in my sales copy?
Extra words on this gig aren't enabled because sales copies are designed to be brief. Dragging them out too much runs the risk of making a potential reader become disengaged or even giving away key plot points. Sales copy is also not to be confused with jacket copy (blurb inside the dust jacket).
Can I pay extra for a sales copy + a jacket copy/blurb?
I don't offer gigs for jacket copy at this time, but I plan to in the near future. At this moment, no plans for sales + jacket copy combo deals have been made. If that changes, I'll be happy to announce them!
Can I pay for multiple sales copies for different projects in one gig?
Unfortunately I don't offer that kind of combo deal. Each book's sales copy must have its own gig. In order to write the most effective copy and give you the best work for your money, I need to be able to give each individual story the attention it deserves.
How will you request the story information from me?
Within a few hours of booking, please message me the title, a detailed summary of your story, relevant genres, and any reviews you've gotten for the story. I will use this information to write the best possible sales pitch for you. You must also include whether you're a debut or experienced author.
