What to expect:
I will beta read your work and provide thoughtful, detail oriented feedback on your project about the plot, characters, pacing, as well as what strengths and weaknesses could be worked on.
Along with in document comments, I will provide at least a one page document of notes with my general opinion, feedback, and answers to some key questions.
As opposed to my developmental editing gig, beta reading is more focused on the general storyline and impact of it.
For example,
- How do your characters develop? Is it realistic and well formed?
- Is the storyline/plot easy to follow?
- Are there any holes in the plot?
- Is the prose easy to understand?
- Did the pacing get slow or stagnant at any point?
- What did I like, dislike, and what could be added/tweaked?

Depending on which package you chose, there is a set word count, unless you selected the add on. You may also provide questions and notes on what specifically you want looked at.
