FAQ
How does the system calculate delivery fees?
\We can configure fixed fees by postal/ZIP code, flat radius-based pricing (e.g., £3 within 3 miles), or cart-threshold rules (e.g., free delivery over £35).
Do I need specialized hardware in my kitchen to receive orders?
No. You can receive orders on an existing iPad, tablet, or laptop with real-time audio alerts. If you have an ESC/POS thermal receipt printer, I can configure automatic receipt printing upon order placement.
Can customers select specific delivery or pickup time slots?
Yes. Time-slot scheduling is included so customers can order for "ASAP" or choose a future delivery/pickup time within your operating hours to prevent kitchen bottlenecks.
How do I avoid paying third-party app commissions?
The system runs entirely on your own WordPress site. All payments route directly to your Stripe or PayPal merchant account. You retain 100% of the sale with zero per-order commissions.
Can I set a minimum order amount for delivery?
Yes. You can enforce minimum checkout values specifically for delivery orders, while leaving pickup orders without a minimum threshold.
What happens if the kitchen gets overwhelmed during peak hours?
You get a single dashboard toggle to pause incoming orders temporarily or extend estimated delivery wait times visible to customers on the frontend.
