As a recent graduate of PA school, I understand how stressful the whole application process can be. That's why I'm here to provide high-quality edits to make your personal statement shine! I'll review each draft for grammar, structure, and clarity, while also providing thoughtful feedback on content and overall impact. By reviewing a very rough draft of your resume/CV, I can also help you strengthen your statement by integrating your personal experiences that highlight your unique journey.
For all packages, I will provide:
- In-line editing suggestions for grammar, spelling, and content
- Sentence restructuring and rewriting
- Paragraph restructuring and organization suggestions
- Recommendations to stay under the 5,000 character limit
- Overall content suggestions and feedback
The final product you will receive:

- A document with all of my in-line suggestions ACCEPTED. This is a neat version of my edits and something you can work off of or even submit!

Will you edit supplemental essays?
Yes, I'm happy to help edit your supplemental essays, experience descriptions, and even your resume/CV for CASPA! Please just send me a message and I will reply with a custom offer based on character length and delivery time.
Can you help me start my personal statement?
While I can’t help you write your personal statement from scratch, I’m happy to help once you have a rough draft. From there, I’ll provide detailed edits, content suggestions, and guidance on how to thoughtfully incorporate your personal experiences.
What is the difference the between basic, standard, and premium packages?
I'll provide the same quality suggestions for all 3 packages. However, the basic package is a thorough review of only one draft. For the standard package, I'll edit and send back your first draft, and then edit a second draft once you submit it. The premium package includes edits on 3 drafts total.
How do I know which package is best for me?
Many clients choose the standard package as it provides an additional opportunity for feedback once the initial set of suggestions has been implemented, but some drafts are already quite polished while others are in the early stages. Please message for advice if you're unsure where your draft lands!
What if I want an extra revision?
If you have already purchased a package and realized you would still like another revision of your personal statement, I offer extra revisions at a flat rate of $22 each. Please message me if interested!
What is the turnaround time for revisions?
I guarantee delivery of your initial revision within 4 days (or within 2 days if you decide to purchase expedited delivery). If you purchase the standard or premium package, I guarantee delivery of your next revision within 4 days of your updated draft submission (or 2 days if expedited delivery).
Why do you want to see my resume or CV?
I don't need a super polished resume, but seeing a list of your experiences can help me provide content suggestions to make your personal statement more meaningful. I promise I'm not judging the content or appearance of it! And feel free to leave out personal info like phone number, address, etc.!
Were you accepted into PA school?
Yes, I recently graduated from Ohio University's PA Program, which was my top choice when applying! I applied to 7 different PA schools during my first and only application cycle, and I was offered interviews from all of them with the personal statement I submitted.
Do you have writing or editing experience?
Yes! While I am not a professional writer or editor, I have written many scientific papers and case studies throughout my education. I have always had a passion for editing friends' papers and have even helped several friends write their personal statements to get accepted into PA school!
Do you use AI to edit personal statements?
No! I believe using AI to help write personal statements makes your writing less meaningful and takes away your voice. I want to work with you to keep your writing true to yourself while simultaneously making it the best it can be.
