What do you need to get started?
Please send your final PDF or DOCX manuscript, subject, page and word counts, deadline, and any publisher indexing guidelines. I will assess the file before confirming the scope.
What does human-curated mean?
I personally review and refine the index, including entry selection, organisation, terminology, cross-references, and page references.
Does my book need to have final page numbers?
Yes, for a page-accurate index. If your manuscript is still being edited or formatted, please contact me before ordering so we can agree on the appropriate stage for indexing.
Will the index be embedded in my Word manuscript?
These packages include a standalone index in Word and PDF. Embedded Word index fields are not included.
What do revisions cover?
Revisions cover adjustments to entries, organisation, and formatting within the original manuscript and agreed scope. Corrections to my work are included. New content, replacement manuscripts, or changes to pagination may require a separate quote.
Can you index longer or highly specialised books?
Please send a sample and your requirements. I will assess the subject, length, and complexity before confirming a custom price and delivery date.
