Will you break my existing GoHighLevel automations while you're working in my account?
No. I duplicate your current setup before I touch anything, so your live workflows stay untouched until the new version is tested and approved.
I've heard GoHighLevel has hidden costs like A2P phone registration fees. Will that catch me off guard here?
Those fees come from GHL itself, not from me, and I'll flag them before you hit them, not after
GHL has a steep learning curve. Will I actually be able to manage this myself once you're done?
Yes. Every project includes documentation of what was built and how it works, so you're not stuck needing me for every small change.
What happens if you go quiet mid-project?
I respond within a set window and if something on GHL's side is causing a delay outside my control, I tell you immediately. Silence isn't part of how I work.
I already have automations another freelancer started and didn't finish. Can you pick up where they left off?
Yes. Send me what exists and I'll assess what's usable versus what needs rebuilding, rather than starting over from zero by default.
I already have Zapier or Make running automations, will adding Claude conflict with them?
Not inherently, but if two systems both react to the same trigger, you get duplicate actions. I map which system owns which trigger before adding Claude in, so they're not fighting over the same event
Does giving Claude MCP access mean it has full admin control of my account?
No. Access is entirely scoped to whatever permissions you set on the Private Integration Token. I configure that token to the specific tools your workflow actually needs, nothing broader.
I heard GHL is changing how webhook signatures get verified, does that break my current setup?
Yes, and this is time-sensitive. The legacy X-WH-Signature header is being deprecated on September 1, 2026, and after that date webhooks are signed only with X-GHL-Signature using GHL's Ed25519 public key.
My webhook fires, but the custom field values on the other end come through blank or malformed. Why?
That's almost always a dynamic token mapping issue, the placeholder isn't resolving the actual field value before the payload sends. It needs explicit field mapping, not just dropping a token into th
My old GHL integration was built on API v1, will it just stop working?
HighLevel's API v1 reached end-of-support as of December 31, 2025. Existing calls may still respond, but there's no fix behind them if something breaks. If you're still on v1, that's the first thing I check and migrate
