Yes, absolutely! My Premium package is specifically designed for authors who want both formats. I will ensure the artwork transitions beautifully between the paperback layout and the larger, wrap-around margins required for a case-laminate hardcover.
What is the technical difference between a paperback and a hardcover file?
Hardcover layouts require a much wider layout margin (usually an extra 0.5 to 0.6 inches all around) because the cover file has to physically fold over the thick cardboard edges of the book. Paperbacks have tighter trim margins. I handle these exact specifications using the official KDP/IngramSpark.
Do you design dust jackets for hardcovers?
Yes! If you want a hardcover with a removable dust jacket (including the front and back inside flaps), please message me before ordering or select the dust jacket add-on, as this requires a completely different template format than a standard case-laminate hardcover.
