I will automate a repetitive file task with a small python script

About this gig
I will build a small Python tool for one clearly defined repetitive file task. Examples include renaming files from a mapping, sorting copies into folders, or combining consistently structured CSV files.
The introductory package covers one simple rule or operation on up to 100 files in one local folder. You receive the Python source, run instructions, and a demonstration using sample files. The customer computer must support the agreed Python version.
I check the expected outputs and relevant error cases. For file-renaming or sorting work, I use copies or an agreed preview workflow so the originals are preserved.
Please message BEFORE ordering with fictional sample inputs, exact desired outputs, operating system, Python setup, and any privacy or tool restrictions. I confirm feasibility and scope first.
Delivery is within 3 days after complete requirements, with one in-scope revision. Apps, websites, account automation, ongoing hosting, paid APIs and complex integrations are not included. Gallery examples are original demonstrations, not client work.

FAQ
What should I send before ordering?
Send fictional example filenames or files, the exact output rule, your operating system, and whether Python is installed. I confirm feasibility and the environment before accepting the task.
Does this include a hosted app or one-click executable?
No. The starter deliverable is Python source with run instructions for an agreed environment. A graphical app, packaged executable, scheduling, hosting and ongoing support require a separate scope.
Will this change my original files?
The first version uses copies or a preview workflow, as agreed. I test the supplied sample rules and explain how to try it safely on a sample folder before processing your working files.
