I am a video editor who has been working as a full time freelance video editor for over 5 years. I specialise in online content and working with Youtubers.
In the past I have edited videos that have gotten millions of views and I have helped channels become successful and popular.
I usually don't have a signature style but work with the client to either enhance their pervious work or create something entirely new that speaks to them.

How does the whole process of editing a video with you work?
We initially discuss the scope of the project and after I’ve received the footage for the edit I start working on a first draft. After that the first draft gets sent off for review. Here we polish the work so it can be ready for the fine cut. After a final round of revisions the video is ready!
Do you have experience with engagement retention for Youtube videos?
I have edited 100s of videos for youtube in the past 5 years. Many have generated millions of views each. I have a keen understanding of how to make a video engaging for Youtube and what audience like. That being said, this does not mean that I can guarantee a certain amount of views for a video.
Do you edit videos to your own style or do you imitate someone else's?
This really depends on the client. I can watch and analyse your previous content so this new video will appear very much in line and match with everything you have done before. But if you'd rather I just take the lead and create a new style myself I can do that too!
Do I have to provide all the footage?
This depends on the video, if the video is one of you talking to camera, then you will have to film that yourself. But once I have that footage to work with, I can then enhance it by providing extra footage, motion graphics, stock, sound effects and music.
Do you provide animations or just motion graphics?
The line between animation work and motion graphics can be a bit blurred. I am not a professional animator so I do not provide frame-by-frame animation work but I can do motion graphics. These include: animated titles, graphs, scene transitions and images. Contact me for more information on this.
Who are your past clients?
On Youtube I have edited videos for many large Youtubers. Some include: Legal Eagle, Nathaniel Drew, David Bennett, Money & Macro, Downie Live, Nahre Sol, Jared Henderson, Dr Becky, Zach Highley, Thomas Frank and many more.
Do you have your own sample library of sounds and music to draw from?
Yes, I have subscriptions to various royalty free music websites that allow me to use their music freely. These will not infringe copyright and will allow you to use your video however you'd like.
Do I have to provide my own stock footage?
Unless you have specific stock footage you already own, I can provide my own through the stock libraries I have access to. These will not infringe copyright and will allow you to use your video however you'd like.
