About this Gig
Vetted Pro
Hi! My name's Marion, and I'm a professional English-to-French translator specializing in video game localization. I have a Bachelor's degree in English, a Master's degree in Linguistics, and the CIOL Level 7 Diploma in Translation. I have 10+ years of experience in translation, and I've also been a gamer for three decades now!
My favourite genres? Action/Adventure games and RPGs. And I LOVE indies.
I can translate everything from UI, dialogues, quests, item descriptions, lore, to store pages, etc.
I own a personal memoQ license, but I can also work with other CAT tools such as Crowdin or MateCat.
Feel totally free to contact me before ordering for custom projects or larger word counts (mandatory to adjust the delivery time :)).
I can't wait to cast a French spell on your game~

FAQ
Do you have a diploma in translation?
Yes, I successfully passed all three units of the challenging Chartered Institute of Linguists Diploma in Translation (English to French) on my first attempt in 2025.
What games have you translated?
I have helped localize games on the website Localizor.com, such as Oreblaze. I'm still quite new in this field, but I'm an experienced translator who knows CAT tools, play games daily, and who has basic coding knowledge (so I perfectly know that you don't want to mess with variables and tags ;)).
Do you offer LQA?
Yes, I can! I can play on PC, and Switch 1 & 2. Contact me for a special quote!
Do you offer MTPE?
No, I'm sorry!

Ongoing collaborationWas so grateful for Marion, she was able to assist with giving really good proofreading and feedback to help our junior to better understand the nuances of language. She worked quickly and despite it being a small project, brought her best to the job.
