I will research your family history
About this Gig
In researching my own family history, I've realized I have just as much interest in going down random rabbit holes of distant relatives and even strangers. I find so much joy and meaning in learning about those who came before us and preserving what we know about them, and I'd love to help others do the same!
Research can be delivered as PDFs through Fiverr, a Google Drive folder with ownership transferred to you at the end, or (for an extra cost) a physical binder with printed trees, records, obituaries, photos, headstones, and other artifacts.
My research method will utilize Ancestry.com, FamilySearch, Newspapers.com, and a few other genealogy websites, databases, and digital archives.
To get started, I will need details on deceased relatives (for example, if your grandmother is alive, I would need her parents' info). Most helpful are:
- full names (including birth/maiden)
- birth & death dates/years
- locations of birth/death or anywhere they may have lived
Please also share if there is any specific information you're looking for, or what you're most interested in!
*cannot help with finding biological parents, or any identifying information about potentially living relatives.

FAQ
Can you guarantee a certain amount of research?
Unfortunately, I am limited by what has been preserved, transcribed, translated, and/or shared by others. I can almost always find something, but in some cases (especially the farther back you get) there won't be much. In that case, we can discuss refunds or new directions.
Can you help find biological parents?
No - sorry!
Can you help identify potentially living relatives?
On most genealogy websites and archives, records of living people stay private. I do not offer assistance finding relatives. However, I am open to helping advise on how to begin doing this (and potentially reaching out to other users on Ancestry.com who may know more about your family).
What does "one family / couple" include?
For the $50 package, "one family" refers to one couple and their children or household members. I will also include the names or basic info on the parents' parents, and spouses of children, depending on what I can find.
What types of artifacts or records will I get?
Common possibilities include census records, burial locations, obituaries, and marriage/baptism/war/immigration records. In rare and special cases, you can find family heirlooms or memorabilia that others have shared - such as portraits, handwritten letters, yearbook photos, or diary pages.
