Just like the process of writing your book involves more than just typing, the process to transform your creation into an audiobook is much, much more than just recording a compelling, flowing narration. It also includes tasks such as the editing out of extraneous sounds, quality control and completeness checks, editing and mastering to meet audiobook specifications.
My audiobook gigs are per finished hour, which represents approximately 10,000 words per hour. Feel free to request a quote - just message me your script, word count, and any hard deadlines you have, and I will let you know what can be accomplished.

FAQ
To which format/standards do produce against?
Both Audible (ACX) and Findaway Voices require their audiobook submissions to conform to a long list of technical and quality standards. Unless directed otherwise, I will produce your audiobook so that it conforms to both these standards, and can be submitted to either or both platforms.
What rights go with the audiobook being produced?
I am providing you with Commercial Rights for free, which is what you would require to sell your audiobook on your own or through a platform like Audible or Findaway.
Do I need to give you credit?
Yes, just like needing to list the actors in a movie, it's "un-cool" to claim the narrator role for the audiobook. I can also help walk you through how to attribute your audiobook to my narrator profile on Audible (ACX) or Findaway Voices or whatever platform you will distribute through.
Can you explain your revision or modification policy?
In the simplest terms, if I mess up reading what you wrote, or technical problems, I will fix it promptly and at no cost to you. If you request a change to the text after it has been recorded, it will be considered a revision. I will seek your approval at stages, to minimize the impact.
How do you handle multiple characters? How about accents?
The majority of the text is narrated in my standard American accent and speaking voice. Characters have slight adjustments in tone or pitch to allow some differentiations between them. That said, I do not do accents like Irish or Australian, etc.
What won't you record?
If you have any concerns, I invite you to ask before purchasing the gig. Currently I do not record erotica - sorry!
What is your availability?
Narrating an audiobook and producing a quality result involves a large and dedicated time commitment. If I am otherwise committed, I may not be able to accept your gig. Message me to discuss availability and we can work something out.
