What is a Line Edit?
So you've written a book. Congrats! Now it's time to ensure it reads the best it can! :)
Line Editing is where your writing receives the polish that makes your book read professionally! Your story is strong; now your sentences need to be. You'll receive line-by-line edits based on my three Cs: clarity, consistency, and conciseness, tightening prose without changing your voice or your story.
(Grammar and punctuation get corrected along the way, but my focus is the words themselves. I recommend a proofread afterward to catch what may remain.)
Fiction, Memoir, and NonFiction are all welcome! (Please reach out if your book includes NSFW.)
NOTE: If your story itself still needs work on plot, structure, or characters, start with my developmental editing or early draft feedback gig instead. Line Editing comes after, followed by a copyedit/proofread. Reach out for any editorial assistance! :)

FAQ
What's included?
A line edit includes a close, line-by-line readthrough of your work, leaving tracked changes throughout, elevating prose and fixing word-choice errors. Also included is an overview analysis, a separate document that provides feedback on each chapter to help explain any changes or recommendations.
How much to line edit my whole book?
$0.05/word, $50 per 1,000 words. 60,000 words is $3,000, 80,000 is $4,000. Message me for a custom offer.
Is grammar included?
Yes, grammar and punctuation get corrected along the way, but my focus is the words themselves. I still recommend a proofread afterward.
Are you a published author?
Yes, there are four titles you can find on Amazon with my name on them. I've also ghostwritten dozens of books and have offered outlining, editing, and coaching services to hundreds of authors.
How do I know I can trust your editing?

What genres do you offer Line Editing for?
