I will adapt your existing book into a studio ready screenplay
Let's get started
About this Gig
I know how much pure energy goes into writing any form of extended prose. Believe me, I know how much effort and passion you've already put into your story, and I will treat it as if it were my own. With two studio-produced films and another in pre-production, I have the experience to do your story justice.
Have you ever asked yourself one simple question, which is; would this make a killer screenplay, or what?
The truthful answer is that sometimes, it's "or what." But honestly, I've read so many books where the images just jump into my brain. As if I can see the whole thing laid out on film. You might say that I read in scenes, not chapters.
The trick with adaptations is to realize that what works on the page, doesn't always work on the screen, and how often have you watched a movie based on a book that you loved, only to be thoroughly disappointed with what was left out?
All of that is to say that I will find the heart of your story. I will take the skeleton of your book and give it the heart that a film needs, and then build around it, sinew by sinew, a body that is fully animated. Flesh and blood characters, living and breathing in a way that only film can capture.

FAQ
Does it matter how long my story is? What if it's a novella, not a full novel?
Not really — I take stories up to 350 pages/manuscript length, but shorter can actually be better. Some of the best films ever adapted came from novellas, not novels — "The Shawshank Redemption" and "Stand By Me" were both adapted from novellas in the same Stephen King collection.
Why do you charge a flat-rate of $180?
You're paying for a screenplay, not a ghostwritten novel. Target length is ~90 pages, film's sweet spot — so $180 works out to about $2 a page for a studio-ready draft from a produced screenwriter. Longer books get experienced cutting; shorter ones get creative room to breathe.
Who owns the finished screenplay?
This is work-for-hire — once delivered and paid for, the screenplay and all rights belong entirely to you. I keep no ownership, no credit claim, and no backend stake. You're free to option, sell, or produce it however you choose.
What is your turnaround time?
Two weeks. I don't offer 2-3 day rush jobs — your story deserves more than a sprint, and a properly crafted adaptation takes real time to get right. It's Hollywood, not a courtroom deadline; nobody's banging on your door demanding it faster. Two weeks gets you a draft that's actually worth reading.
What genres do you work with?
Pretty much all of them. My credits range from grounded, real-life drama (The Shoebox) to contained horror (Bad Games) — plus thriller, faith-based, and family-drama work along the way. If your story has a genuine heartbeat, I can find the film in it, whatever shelf it sits on at the bookstore.
