About this gig
Welcome to MidwestCAD
Turn your concepts into physical metal hardware. We offer end-to-end solutions, from drafting CAD models to casting and shipping real metal parts.
What We Offer
- 2D to 3D CAD: Converting sketches and 2D drawings into flawless 3D models.
- Metal Casting: High-quality stainless steel prototypes (max 100g/part).
- Surface Finishing: Raw/industrial finishes or premium polishing.
- Global Shipping: Reliable international delivery straight to your door.
️ Important: Complex Geometry If you supply a 3D model for casting that features complex geometry, intricate internal structures, or tight tolerances, you must provide a .STEP file. This ensures maximum manufacturing accuracy and zero data loss.

FAQ
What file formats do you accept?
For 2D to 3D conversion, I accept sketches, blueprints, or images (JPG, PNG, PDF). For 3D casting projects, I prefer .STEP Note: For complex geometry, a .STEP file is mandatory to ensure precision.
What are the material and size limits?
I specialize in stainless steel casting. Each individual part must be no heavier than 100g to ensure the highest quality finish and structural integrity.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. I use reliable courier services (such as DHL) for global fulfillment. Shipping costs are included in the Standard and Premium packages.
Why do I need to message you before ordering?
Hardware projects vary significantly in complexity, dimensions, and material requirements. Messaging first allows us to confirm your design’s feasibility and ensures I can meet your specific project goals.
What is the difference between raw and polished finishes?
"Raw" finish is the standard industrial look straight from the casting process. The "Polished" finish involves manual post-processing to achieve a smooth, premium aesthetic suitable for display or high-end product use.
