Monophonic means one note or melodic line at a time, such as a vocal, flute, or solo melody. Polyphonic means multiple notes sounding together, such as piano, guitar, keyboard, or another chordal instrument.

All packages include a professionally formatted PDF score and the editable MuseScore project file. MIDI and MusicXML can also be delivered at no additional cost. Premium includes the full score and separate instrumental parts.

Yes. I can transcribe melodic, harmonic, vocal, and orchestral instruments. Dense ensembles, full orchestral music, unusual instruments, or recordings with overlapping parts must be reviewed before ordering and may require a custom offer.

Send the clearest audio available, exact timestamps, instruments or parts required, preferred key, lyrics if applicable, and any formatting or notation references. Isolated stems, MIDI, video, or alternate recordings are helpful when available.

Price depends on duration, number and type of instruments, rhythmic and harmonic density, performance complexity, audio clarity, and required deliverables. Two recordings of the same length can require very different amounts of work.

Yes. Premium includes lyrics when requested, and they can be added to Basic or Standard as an extra. Please provide the finalized lyrics as text. The service places supplied lyrics in the score; lyric writing or correction is not included.

Yes. Longer works, complex solos, improvised music, dense mixes, and large ensembles are available through a custom offer after I review the full recording. I can divide large projects into clear milestones when useful.

Yes, but those are creative services rather than literal transcription. Arrangement, simplification, reharmonization, transposition, composition, and adaptation are quoted separately after reviewing your goals and instrumentation.

A revision covers reasonable corrections to the agreed transcription and formatting. Adding instruments or sections, changing the source audio, altering the arrangement, or requesting a new notation approach requires an additional quote.

I create scores in MuseScore and provide MSCZ, PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML files. I do not provide native Sibelius SIB files. MusicXML can usually be imported into Sibelius, but layout adjustments may be necessary after conversion.
