Please Read (& also see FAQ's):
- Lessons will be provided 1-1 and over Google Meet. (Please message me if Google Meet isn't available, I am happy to discuss different options :)
- PLEASE BOOK THE 30 MINUTE LESSON IF IT'S YOUR FIRST LESSON WITH ME (it will help you ease in and make sure I am the right teacher for you, and it'll also help me give you guidance on which tier of lessons is most suitable for you onwards)
- All ages (and Beginner to Grade 8 stages) welcome!
Please message me to schedule your time slot BEFORE ordering, as my weeks can sometimes vary due to school, gigs, appointments etc. - keep in mind I'm in the UK, so time zones may vary.

Hello, my name is Mika!
My music journey began in 2021, now I'm regularly performing LRSM-Level Repertoire.
I was classically trained at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on the Cello, where I've had the honour to be a Finalist at the Scottish Young Musician National Competition (2024). I also regularly have gigs, competitions, & ensemble experience in Youth Orchestra & Big Band (where I play the Sax).
Helping people with music is my dream. Whether you're a beginner or intermediate, I’ll guide you at a pace that actually feels comfortable, and to make learning supportive, effective and fun!

FAQ
What languages can you use, and which version of english do you speak?
I use English(UK) for all lesson types - So e.g. I'd say "Crotchet" rather than English(US) "Quarter Note". However, I am happy to adapt to anyone's needs, and am open to learning the variation if ever needs be - same goes with Polish, as I'm fluent, but I haven't learnt musical terminology in it.
Do I need to bring my own cello to the lesson(s)?
Yes. As it's online, I'm unable to provide any cellos for lessons. If you're just starting out, I highly recommend renting a cello or buying a cheap one and replacing its string with decent ones (so it's at least somewhat playable) - but please wait for the lesson before trying to restring a cello!
What genre can the lessons focus on?
Any! I love Jazz, Classical, Metal Rock and many more! So, although my expertise is in classical paying, I will happily take a look at whatever you decide to bring to the lesson and help you learn to play it :D
