Hello, my name is Mika!
My music journey began in 2021, now I'm regularly performing LRSM-Level Repertoire.
I was classically trained at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on the Cello, where I've had the honour to be a Finalist at the Scottish Young Musician National Competition (2024). I also regularly have gigs, competitions, & ensemble experience in Youth Orchestra & Big Band (where I play the Sax).
I will guide you at a comfortable pace, any level: beginner to advanced!

FAQ
What system of music theory do you teach?
I have personally learned everything through the ABRSM system, so will primarily teach using this method during lessons. However, it doesn't differ from any other western system too heavily, so you should be fine either way :) ABRSM is really good, because it's recognised internationally.
What languages can you use, and which version of english do you speak?
I use English(UK) for all lesson types - So e.g. I'd say "Crotchet" rather than English(US) "Quarter Note". However, I am happy to adapt to anyone's needs, and am open to learning the variation if ever needs be - same goes with Polish, as I'm fluent, but I haven't learnt musical terminology in it.

Ongoing collaborationMy experience once again was very, very positive. Mika in the past even gave me great tips on how to develop perfect pitch and a lot of reassurance that even somebody like me could one day become a really good musician.
