If you're an author looking for a thorough assessment of your manuscript...look no further. As a beta reader and copywriter with a lifelong love of reading, I will provide a thorough review of your novel with actionable feedback to make sure it really shines.
I'll annotate your manuscript file with my immediate thoughts and reactions as I read, and provide a feedback summary at the end of each chapter. I also provide a full manuscript analysis as a separate document (typically around 2,000 words) focusing on;
- characterization and dialogue
- consistency (character motivation, world-building etc)
- plot and pacing
- story structure
- writing style and tone
- problem areas (plot holes, lagging pace etc)
- any other areas as requested.

FAQ
My manuscript is longer than 130,000 words. Can you still beta read it?
Of course! My Epic package includes manuscripts up to 130,000 words but I can add more if needed. I charge an additional $10(USD) for every additional 10,000 words above 130,001.
Do you use AI in your beta reading?
An increasingly common question, and the answer is no. I absolutely do not use any AI in any element of my beta reading work. All my feedback is 100% my own thoughts, writing, and expertise, and I work entirely offline on your manuscript.
Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement
If you'd like me to, absolutely! I guarantee confidentiality but if you'd like additional peace of mind then I'm happy to sign an NDA.
What genres do you read?
I'm happy to beta read all genres of fiction and specialise in fantasy (epic, high, YA, NA, paranormal, and contemporary), science fiction, contemporary, horror, crime, and romance.
Can you provide a sample of your work?
Absolutely! I've spoken to lots of authors who've been stung by poor beta readers who provided little to no useful feedback, so I'm happy to provide a free one chapter sample to make sure you're happy with my service (assuming an average chapter length - no 10,000 word chapters please!)
Will you fact check my manuscript?
No. If your story features historical or cultural events and references, my feedback will only concern how those work within the story and their consistency within it, rather than the accuracy of those events themselves.
