WHY ME
Hardware engineer in the high-tech semiconductor industry. Recent client work includes a 4-layer battery powered RFID node with Ethernet and WiFi, and a consumer product board taken through DFM to production. Both went from requirements to fab files in about two weeks.
If a part or topology in your spec will cause trouble later, I tell you before I route it.

FAQ
What do you need from me to start?
To quote and start, send me: What the board must do Parts you have already chosen Size, mounting and connector constraints Your target manufacturer A block diagram, sketch or existing schematic helps. No spec yet? I will write the requirements with you first.
Do you build and test physical boards?
Standard delivery is the full design and production files, verified by DRC, ERC and simulation. I can also have the boards made, assembled and tested. This is priced per project, since it depends on components, quantity and fab. Message me first and I will send a custom offer.
Which files do I receive?
I will send you the design files: - Layout PDF - Schematic PDF - Render of the Board Manufacturing files: - Gerber files - Component placement files - Drill files - BOM Project files: - Native project files of both schematic & Layout.
Can I get the source files in my CAD tool?
Yes. I work in KiCad, Altium and Eagle and deliver the native project so your team can take the design over. Tell me which tool you use before we start.
I already have a schematic. Can you just do the layout?
Yes, that is common. Send the schematic and netlist and I will quote layout only. I will still review the schematic and flag anything that will cause problems in layout or manufacturing.
How many layers do I need?
Two layers suits simple boards. Four is typical for anything with a microcontroller, a switching regulator or a radio. Six or more is for dense mixed-signal work. Send me your requirements and I will tell you which, before you order.
How do revisions work?
Each package includes a set number of revisions covering changes within the agreed scope. New features, added components or a changed requirement are a scope change and are quoted separately. Extra revisions are available as a gig extra.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, happy to sign your NDA before we discuss the project. Your design, schematics and files are yours; I do not reuse client work and I only add a project to my portfolio with your written permission.
Can you write the firmware as well?
Yes. C and C++ for ESP32, STM32 and RP2040. A starter firmware package is available as a gig extra, and larger firmware work is quoted separately.
What if my board is bigger than the package allows?
Not a problem. Component count and layer count can both be extended with gig extras, or message me first and I will send a custom offer covering the whole scope.
