Shadows of the Rodeo: A Tale in Silhouette

Every town in the Dustbelt had a claim to fame. Some had gold rush stories, others had outlaw legends. But Cinderbrush, a town so small it didnt have a stoplight, had its own badge of honor: The Black Dust Rodeothe roughest, rowdiest, and most revered rodeo west of the Mississippi.

The rodeo was held once a year, always at dusk, when the sun turned the dust gold and the riders became silhouettes against the skybucking, leaping, roping, flying. It was beautiful and brutal. And to the townsfolk of Cinderbrush, those rodeo silhouettes werent just imagesthey were mythology.

Hanging in every bar, every feed store, every truck stop was the same poster: a silhouetted cowboy mid-buck, hat flying off, one hand in the air as his wild stallion reared back. That cowboy had become a symbol. A legend. And no one knew his name.

Well... almost no one.
