FAQ
What do you need to prepare my IngramSpark hardcover dust jacket?
I need your existing cover artwork, book trim size, page count, paper type, binding specifications, and any IngramSpark cover template or requirements you have.
Can you fix a rejected IngramSpark cover file?
Yes. I can review common cover formatting issues and correct problems such as dimensions, spine alignment, bleed, and margins. Please share the rejection message before ordering.
Do you design hardcover dust jackets from scratch?
This gig focuses on preparing and formatting existing artwork. A complete original design or extensive redesign may require a custom offer.
Can you convert my paperback cover into a hardcover dust jacket?
Yes, provided you supply the original artwork and the correct hardcover specifications. Paperback and hardcover layouts differ, so the existing file may need substantial adjustments.
Will my cover be guaranteed to pass IngramSpark's review?
I prepare files according to the supplied specifications and check for common issues, but final acceptance depends on IngramSpark's requirements and review process.
What file format will I receive?
The standard deliverable is a print-ready PDF. Please contact me if you also need an editable source file or another format.
Can you prepare a dust jacket and a case laminate hardcover cover?
Yes, if you provide the correct specifications for each format. A dust jacket and a case laminate cover are different layouts and may require separate preparation.
