My name is Millie, and I am a 24-year-old editor and writer from the UK. I have six years of freelance experience, and I worked as a Development Editor at an award-winning children's book publisher. I am also a traditionally published children's non-fiction author. I am happy to work on books intended for any age group, from picture books to new adult fiction.

Why are copy editing and proofreading not included in your Gig?
Copy editing and proofreading are separate stages in the editorial process. The process is as follows: developmental, structure and line, copy edit, proofread. Feel free to contat me if your book has already had a structure and line edit. I am happy to discuss copy edits and proofreads.
Is English your native language?
Yes - I have lived in England all my life, but can adapt to US spelling.
Do you offer formatting services for my children's book?
No
What are your requirements?
Please send me your document, word count and an idea of the target audience. I only work in Microsoft Word and use track changes, so please send your manuscript as a word document.
How many times will you edit my story per package?
Once. If you'd like me to go over it again, you'd need to purchase another gig - edits are open for discussion, though.
