I will deploy your asp net core project to ubuntu server nginx

As the title suggests, I will deploy your ASP.NET Core application to your Ubuntu web server. The important thing is that you use Nginx web server.

The process itself is fairly simple but there are always some little things that make this process hard. The way I deploy applications to Ubuntu VPS server is that I create a publish profile in Visual Studio and then we basically publish files to the server.

After that we need to create Ubuntu service that will run in background and serve the app on a port. Final step is that we create a reverse proxy in Nginx virtual host so your domain points to the Kestrel port we just created via the service.

You need to have NET Runtime installed on your server (VPS).
