Do I need to hire an editor and a formatter separately, or does this gig cover both?
This gig covers both. I handle editing and proofreading first, then move into formatting and layout, so your manuscript goes through one connected process instead of being passed between different freelancers.
Will you actually publish my book on Amazon, or just prepare the files?
Both, depending on what you need. I can prepare fully publish-ready files for you to upload yourself, or I can walk you through the full KDP publishing process, including account setup, metadata, and going live.
What condition does my manuscript need to be in before I send it to you?
Any condition is fine. Whether it's a polished draft or still a bit rough, I will assess it first and let you know exactly what stage of editing and formatting it needs before we start.
Can you format and publish both the eBook and the print version?
Yes. I prepare Kindle eBook files (EPUB/MOBI) and print-ready paperback or hardcover layouts, so your book can be available in both formats if that's what you want
How involved will I be during the process?
As involved as you would like. I will send you drafts to review at key stages, and I won't move forward with major changes without your input. This is still your book.
What if I need changes after the book is already formatted or published?
That's completely normal, and I offer revisions to handle it. If updates are needed after publishing too, I can help you push those changes through KDP as well.
