Look, I can't feel much sympathy for people telling you something like that. First of all, you don't have to explain yourself. People who love you will understand, everyone else doesn't deserve an explanation to begin with. Music is for the soul and for everyone, don't let negativity get to you!

No, personally I'm not a big theory person, I practiced, I listened and I created. I think that's a big formula that already gets you far ahead of most others. I'll explain everything I do in the easiest words I can come up with.

You should have a good stable internet connection. You should also have a decent microphone and a decent webcam so that there is no issues with the audio and video of our lessons. I give my lessons mostly via ZOOM or TEAMS so have them both downloaded on your phone or computer prior to our lesson.

While I certainly feel most comfortable in writing acoustic songs, or pop or rock, I'm of the opinion that dividing music into all kinds of genres is a bit counterproductive and shuts down great collaboration. Let me know what you're up to and I'm sure you'll get something positive out of our chat.
