I will create unique chord progressions for your melody or song
Minosh Perera
About this gig
Have a melody that needs the right chords? Or do your existing chords feel too simple or predictable?
I will create, rework, or reharmonize chord progressions for your melody while keeping the original melody intact.
I can work on your verse, chorus, pre-chorus, bridge, interlude, hook, intro/outro, or complete song. Whether you want a natural, emotional, dreamy, dramatic, cinematic, modern, R&B-inspired, or completely different harmonic feel, Ill shape the harmony around your requirements.
With Absolute Pitch and practical experience in vocals, keyboard, composition, arrangement, and music production, I can closely follow your melody and create chord choices that sound musical and intentional.
You can send a vocal or hummed melody, piano/guitar demo, MIDI, existing chords, or complete song demo.
Depending on your package, you can receive:
- Chord progression or reharmonization
- PDF chord chart
- MIDI files
- WAV/MP3 reference
- Chord voicings
- Alternative harmonic ideas
Send me your melody, tell me the sound you want, and I'll create a harmonic direction that brings it to life.

FAQ
Can you create chords if I only have a melody?
Yes. You can send me a vocal recording, humming, piano/guitar demo, MIDI, or another recording of your melody. I can develop a chord progression around it based on your preferred style and mood.
Can you rework my existing chords without changing my melody?
Yes. This is one of the main services I offer. I can keep your original melody while creating a different harmonic direction through new chords, substitutions, voicings, and harmonic movement.
Can you make my chorus, verse, or interlude sound completely different?
Yes. I can work on individual sections such as verses, choruses, bridges, hooks, and interludes. The melody can remain the same while the harmony is redesigned to create a different emotional or musical feel.
What types of files can I send you?
You can send vocal recordings, humming, piano or keyboard recordings, guitar recordings, MIDI files, existing chord progressions, or complete song demos. If you’re unsure whether your file is suitable, you can message me before ordering.
Will I receive a PDF of the chords?
Yes. A PDF chord chart is included according to the package. I can organize the chords clearly by sections such as verse, chorus, bridge, and interlude, and can place chords above lyrics when lyrics are provided.
Can you provide MIDI files?
Yes. MIDI delivery is included in all packages, allowing you to import the chord arrangement into your DAW and continue producing or editing your song.
Can you create different chord versions for the same melody?
Yes. I can create alternative harmonic approaches for the same melody, such as a natural version, a richer/emotional version, or a more unexpected harmonic direction. Additional alternatives may depend on the selected package.
Can you work with a specific genre or mood?
Yes. Tell me the genre, reference sound, mood, or emotional direction you want. I can tailor the harmonic approach accordingly, whether you’re looking for something simple, emotional, dreamy, dramatic, cinematic, modern, R&B-influenced, or unconventional.
Do you provide traditional sheet music?
I provide professionally organized PDF chord charts rather than traditional musical notation or full scores. MIDI files and audio references can also be provided according to your package.
Can you work on only one part of my song?
Absolutely. You don’t need to send an entire song. You can order a specific section such as a chorus, verse, hook, bridge, or interlude, depending on the package you choose.
