What file format should I use for a screenplay?
There are several professional formats, however the one that I use and is considered industry standard is Final Draft, and that file format is .FDX. If you are using another professional program, I may be able to help you, please just message me.
How important is professional formatting in screenplays?
This is arguably one of the most important aspects of completing a screenplay. A poorly formatted script may not get read, despite how amazing your story actually is, believe it or not.
