App submission is not included in the base packages, as it requires your own paid Apple Developer ($99/yr) and Google Play Console ($25) accounts. However, I offer a Gig Extra where I will handle the technical submission process for you once your accounts are set up.
Do I need my own Firebase account?
Yes, you will need to create a free Google/Firebase account. I will guide you on how to set it up and invite me as an editor so I can configure the database, storage, and authentication rules securely under your ownership.
Why do you use Expo instead of bare React Native CLI?
Expo allows for incredibly fast development, easier testing via the Expo Go app, and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. This means we can push minor bug fixes directly to your users without waiting for App Store review approvals.
Will my Firebase backend cost money to run?
Firebase has a very generous "Spark" (free) plan that is more than enough for testing, launching an MVP, and acquiring your first few hundred users. You only pay when your app scales to high traffic.
Will I own the source code when the order is complete?
Absolutely. Once the order is marked as complete, you retain 100% ownership of the final React Native source code, the Firebase environment, and all associated assets.
