FAQ
Which KDP formatting errors can you fix?
I correct agreed paperback file issues such as bleed, margins, trim size, cover dimensions, spine width and alignment. Send the exact KDP message and affected files before ordering so I can confirm the scope. Account, copyright and content-policy issues are not formatting repairs.
Can you work with PDF-only files?
Many PDF issues can be corrected, but some need editable source files or layout rebuilding. Send your PDF for review before ordering. If the repair requires extensive reconstruction, I will confirm a custom scope and price first.
Can you fix spine width and cover size?
Yes. I use your final page count, trim size, paper/ink choice and applicable KDP cover specifications to adjust the existing cover. Changing the interior page count can change the required spine width, so please provide the final interior.
What files and print settings do you need?
Send the relevant cover/interior PDF, editable files if available, exact KDP error screenshots, trim size, final page count, paper/ink type and bleed setting. Include affected page numbers and any design elements that must remain unchanged.
Is KDP approval guaranteed?
No. I correct the agreed formatting issues, but Amazon controls final review and approval. If KDP flags a problem related to my corrections, send the updated error message so I can review it within the agreed revision scope.
Which book types and formats are covered?
These packages cover existing paperback files, including coloring books, activity books, journals, children's books and text-based books. Each order covers one paperback edition and trim size. Please ask before ordering for hardcover, eBook or complex illustrated layouts.
Does this include redesign or content editing?
No. This is a formatting repair service for existing files. New cover designs, full interior redesigns, illustrations, proofreading, rewriting and eBook conversion are not included. Extensive reconstruction needs a separate quote after file review.
What files will I receive?
You receive corrected print PDF files for the cover and/or interior included in your package. Editable source files are not included by default. Please send your original editable files when available so I can assess the most reliable repair approach.
How do page limits and revisions work?
Standard covers up to 50 total interior pages; Premium covers up to 100, including blank and front-matter pages. Basic includes 1 revision; Standard and Premium include 2. Revisions cover agreed corrections. New content, redesigns or a different trim size require a new scope.
Do you upload the files to my KDP account?
No. You upload the corrected PDFs and review them in KDP Print Previewer. Please do not share passwords or login codes. If a formatting warning remains, send the exact message and page number so I can review it against the agreed scope.
