Project description

MICROCONTROLLER (AT89C51):

I designed embedded system by using MCU (AT89C51) which can be used as automobile engine control systems, remote controls, office machines, appliances, power tools, toys and other embedded systems.

INTERFACE MEMORY TO MICROCONTROLLER(AT89C51):

I designed circuit using ICs 62256(RAM) and 28C256(ROM) to interface memory to MCU (AT89C51).

PROGRAMMABLE IO INTERFACE TO MICROCONTROLLER(AT89C51):

I designed circuit using IC 82C55 CMOS Programmable Peripheral Interface to interface keyboard and a parallel printer port in PCs.

Beside I also designed a in circuit programmer with the help of which you can program the Microcontroller without removing it from board I used Microcontroller(AT89C2051-24PU) for this purpose.

SOFTWARE USED IN THIS PROJECT:

(1) PROTEUS:

I used the Proteus Software in the whole project for Simulation Purpose.

(2)ALTIUM DESIGNER:

I used Altium Designer for PCB designing and circuit schematic.

(3)KEIL UVISION:

I wrote program for ICs in C and Assembly Language using keil uvision software.
