I will build an ai voice agent ai receptionist or ai calling agent with vapi

Level 2
About this gig
Need a voice agent that holds up on a real call? Not a demo that falls apart the moment someone interrupts it?
I design and run production voice AI, from AI receptionists to custom real-time stacks with GPU inference and multi-region backends. Lag, agents talking over callers, dead air and per-minute costs creeping up are problems I solve routinely, not ones I discover on your project.
WHAT I BUILD
- AI receptionists that book appointments (Google Calendar, Cal.com, GoHighLevel)
- Inbound and outbound calling agents on your Twilio number
- Lead qualification that pushes results into your CRM
- Support lines that answer from your own docs
- Voice assistants inside your website or mobile app
PLATFORM OR CUSTOM, YOUR CALL
Vapi or Retell if you want it live fast and editable by your team. Custom LiveKit or Pipecat code if you need lower latency, full control and lower cost at volume. I'll tell you honestly which one fits.
EVERY ORDER INCLUDES
- Real test calls with a latency report
- Transcripts and call logs
- Setup on your own accounts
- A recorded walkthrough for your team
Message me your use case before ordering and I'll point you to the right package.

FAQ
Do you use Vapi, Retell or custom code?
All three. Vapi or Retell is fastest and your team can edit it. Custom LiveKit or Pipecat costs more upfront but gives lower latency and cheaper minutes at volume. I'll recommend one after hearing your use case.
How fast does the agent reply?
I aim for under 2 second from when the caller stops talking to the agent's first word. You get a latency report from real test calls, not a guess.
Can people interrupt it?
Yes. Barge-in is set up and tested on every agent, so it stops talking when the caller cuts in, the way a person would.
Who pays for Vapi, Twilio and the AI models?
You do, on your own accounts, at cost. Before building I estimate your cost per minute so nothing surprises you on the bill.
Can it book appointments in my calendar?
Yes. Google Calendar, Cal.com, Calendly and GoHighLevel are the common ones. It checks real availability before confirming a slot.
Can it make outbound calls?
Yes, from a list or triggered by your CRM. You must have consent to call those numbers under the laws where you operate.
Can my existing voice agent be fixed?
Yes. Slow replies, agents talking over callers, hallucinated answers and silent calls are the usual problems. Send me your setup and a couple of call recordings.
Which languages does it speak?
Most major languages, including mixed-language calls. Tell me yours and I'll test the voices in it before we start.
Can it use a cloned voice?
Yes, from a clean 1 to 2 minute sample, and only with written consent from the person whose voice it is.
What do you need from me to start?
What the agent should do, a few example calls or FAQs, access to the tools it connects to, and accounts on Vapi or Retell and Twilio. I send a checklist after you order.
