About this gig
My name is Oleksii, I am a professional session vocalist and an educator with many years of experience. My vocal portfolio includes such genres as death metal, progressive rock, heavy metal, alternative and experimental music, where I used a variety of clean singing, growling, screaming and diversity of other vocal techniques. The demo video above is a demonstration of just a few of the things you could achieve with continuous practice under my supervision. I will show you more than just ways of developing metal vocal skills or overdriving your cleans - I will help you understand your voice, safely expand your limits and use your vocals creatively (and of course help you reach all of those hellish lows and shrieking high squeals). My name is Oleksii. I am a Ukrainian entrepreneur and musician residing in the Netherlands for the past 8 years. My passion for music resulted in me learning and getting accustomed to many musical instruments and vocal styles to enhance the diversity in my songwriting abilities. Furthermore, it pushed me to learn how to plan, create and stylize social media content to support musical releases for my own and my clients' projects. Ranging from video production and motion graphics to social media management, my skillset helped me create compete bundles of supportive materials for dozens of bands.
FAQ
Is it safe for my voice to start learning extreme vocals?
Yes, every lesson will start with a proper warmup, every new step in developing new extreme vocal skills will be taken carefully, taking into consideration the current level of the student
Do I need to know how to sing to start learning extreme vocals?
No, although it is a big plus - a lot of techniques and warmups that we will go through are implemented in the development of regular singing skills as well
Do I need a proper rehearsal space to practice?
It is certainly beneficial, the first lessons will focus on understanding the techniques and practicing muscle movements needed for healthy development in the long run, they predominantly are not loud. The more advanced techniques do require making louder noises
What platform do you use for online lessons?
The lessons will be done using Google Meet, I will provide you with a link before each lesson
Is it possible to have lessons in person?
Yes! Only if you happen to be in the east of the Netherlands, write me a personal message for more details

Can these vocals skills be used outside of metal music?
Yes! I have worked with a variety of genres outside of metal myself, being able to overdrive your voice and make experimental noises where necessary can give you a massive advantage over other vocalists
