ACCA Manual J and S Block Load calculations for your residential homes.
I'm a Master HVACR license holder with over 20 years of experience in the US HVAC industry and 15 years as an HVAC system designer with thousands of projects under my belt.
Block load calculations are perfect for jobs where permits require a Manual J but you're only swapping the equipment. They make your life simple and are more cost-effective.
*Message me for Room by room design if you plan to get a Manual D in the near future.
All I need is the sizing of the outline of the house and the sizing of all windows and doors. The drawing you send me can be hand drawn or as detailed as the official prints.
- These calculations can be used to acquire Permits in situations such as a system swap.
- Most rebate companies require Manual J and S to obtain Rebates on energy-efficient equipment.

Whats included in this gig?
MANUAL J & S ( Manual J - Load calculation), (Manual S - Equipment selection). Extras that you can purchase that aren't included in the price of this gig: 1-day delivery. DOES NOT INCLUDE MANUAL D (DUCT DESIGN)!
What information is needed to start?
A drawing of the house with the dimensions of the walls, windows, and exterior doors, as well as a completed Requirements form, which you will receive after you place your order. The form will contain questions such as equipment preference, construction details, and so on.
What would the cost be if my project doesnt fit any of your packages?
Send me a message and we can discuss a custom package that fits your needs.
Can a Blockload be upgraded to Manual D?
No, a Blockload can't be upgraded to a Manual D as Manual D needs the individual room load requirements. Just message me before placing the order and I'll make sure to provide you with a Room by room design for the same price that can be upgraded to Manual D.
What if you require any state specific forms such as Florida R405-2022 supplement?
Please reach out before purchasing the gig to discuss any extra required forms as they're not part of the Manual JS.
What Software do you use?
I use the ACCA-certified "Wrightsoft" program. I find it to be the most accurate and detailed program on the market.
Can a block load be used for city permit?
Yes, it's used most commonly when you're swapping out existing equipment for new equipment, and duct design isn't needed.
Are you familiar with the most up to date mechanical codes?
Yes. I'm a Master HVACR contractor license holder in the state of NJ and have done over 1500 load calculations for various states.
What is considered a Revision? (Revisions Policy)
I offer revisions except in the case of: Completely different house from the first drawing./Redoing the whole house from scratch due to a change of mind./Requests that go against the best installation practices./Any revisions with the intention of abusing the system to get a free project.
