What's Included in This Gig?
Includes ACCA-compliant Manual J (load calculations), Manual S (equipment selection), and Manual D (duct design). Optional extras (not included): 24-hour delivery, additional systems, mini-splits, REScheck, ERV/HRV design, Florida R405, Radiant Floor Heating Design, and Material Takeoff.
What information is needed to start?
To get started, I need your floor plans showing all interior wall, window, and exterior door dimensions (WxH). After ordering, you'll receive a Requirements Form covering equipment preferences, construction details, and other project-specific information.
What would be the cost if my project doesnt fit any of your packages
If your project doesn't fit one of my packages, please contact me for a custom quote. Send the home's floor plans. square footage and the number of HVAC systems, and I'll review the project and provide a personalized price quote.
What if you require any state specific forms such as Florida R405 and Title24?
If your jurisdiction requires a Florida R405 report, you can add it as an extra when ordering a Manual J, S & D package. At the current time, Im not offering Title24 or other state-specific forms.
What software do you use?
I use Wrightsoft Right-Suite®, the industry's leading ACCA-approved software for Manual J, Manual S, and Manual D calculations. It is widely regarded as the most accurate and comprehensive HVAC design program available.
Can this be used to get a permit?
Yes. The ACCA-compliant Manual J, S, and D reports are suitable for permit submittals and are accepted by jurisdictions throughout all 50 U.S. states. These calculations are required by many building departments for HVAC permit approval.
Are you familiar with the most up to date mechanical codes?
Yes. As a New Jersey Master HVAC License Holder, I complete ongoing code-update training to maintain my license. With 13,000+ HVAC design projects completed nationwide, I stay current with modern mechanical code requirements and permit standards.
What is considered a Revision? (Revisions Policy)
Revisions are available for adjustments to the original project scope. They do not include redesigning the project due to major floor plan changes, complete reworks after a change of mind, requests that conflict with code or industry best practices, or changes that effectively create a new project.
