FAQ
What do I need to provide?
Information of your book and the cover. If you want, you can provide an specific song, footage, images, or anything you want to be on your final booktrailer. Please consider that any material must be yours or with a license for commercial use. Formats should be: mp4, avi, wmv, jpg, png, mp3, wav.
Do you add voiceover to every book trailer?
If you already have a voiceover file, I can add it to your video at no additional cost. I can also recommend a Fiverr voice actor to you for optimal results. The file you provide should be in an MP3 or WAV format. Please note that I do not have the equipment to record voiceover files on my own.
Can you make a book trailer customized for a specific social media platform?
Sure! Just contact me before placing your order and tell me in which platform you are going to post your book trailer, and buy the package that corresponds to the running time you want your final book trailer to be.
What format is my book trailer going to be in?
I only render to a .mp4 format because it's the most supported one by a large amount of platforms.
What is the difference between a cinematic and an advertising book trailer?
A cinematic book trailer includes footage of your characters, settings and events. It conveys a story, just like a movie trailer would. On the other hand, an advertising book trailer will just include a synopsis of your book, and information of when and how to buy your book, more like an ad.
What does the thumbnail or banner extra includes?
A mockup of your book cover, an image related to your story (whether it be the author, a place, character or event), information of when and in what platform your book is going to be released, and some catchy phrase of your choice! The size depends on which platform it is going to be uploaded to.
Can you add captions? What languages are available for subtitles?
Yes, I can add captions: they describe the music and narration and are useful for improving SEO in certain social media platforms. Subtitles are available from English to Spanish and viceversa. However, I can add subtitles from any other language as long as you provide the translation file.
What is the format for the subtitles or captions?
I provide subtitles in a .srt format, as it is the most common and used for most platforms.
Do you accept custom orders?
Yes, I do. Please inbox me before placing one.
Do you provide links and or the material you worked with?
No, I don't share the material I use for my projects. Some of those materials are licensed and therefore, I am not allowed to share them as they are, I can only share them in the context of a work.

While the freelancer was professional and very polite, I really expected more from the final product. I have had videos created before and I could not wait to display them. For this one, I felt as though I was doing a lot of the work to achieve an okay product in the end.
