Will you change my voice?
Never. I use Google Docs' "suggest edits" feature so every change is transparent and you can accept, reject, or discuss anything I flag. Your voice is the whole point.
What genres do you work with?
Literary fiction, contemporary, historical, speculative/sci-fi, and romance. If you're unsure, just send me a short sample and I'll tell you honestly if we're a good fit.
Can I work with you on an ongoing basis?
Absolutely! This is my favorite way to work. Repeat clients get a 10% discount and priority scheduling. Many authors send me chapters on an ongoing basis throughout their draft. Your style sheet carries over from session to session, so we stay consistent throughout your whole book.
I want to work with you long-term. How should I place my orders?
For ongoing clients, just place a new order for each chapter or section rather than using the additional words add-on. That keeps things clean, lets you use your 10% repeat client discount each time, and makes it easy for us to track progress through your manuscript.
What format will I receive my edits in?
I work exclusively in Google Docs using tracked changes and comments, so you can see every suggestion and decide what to keep. If you need a Word document, you can easily download your Google Doc as a .docx file with one click.
