Will you make changes to my Azure environment?
The standard packages provide assessment and recommendations using read-only information. I will not stop, resize, delete, or modify resources. If you want implementation support, I can prepare a separate offer after you approve the recommendations.
Can you guarantee a specific amount of savings?
No responsible assessment can guarantee savings before reviewing actual billing, usage, commitments, workload requirements, and negotiated pricing. I provide evidence-based estimates and document the assumptions behind every opportunity.
Will you recommend reservations or Azure savings plans?
Yes, where the usage pattern supports a commitment. I first identify waste and rightsizing opportunities. I then assess workload stability, coverage, utilization, scope, and risk before recommending a reservation or savings plan.
Can you review AKS costs?
Yes. I can review node pools, requests and limits, autoscaling, idle capacity, cost allocation, Azure Advisor findings, AKS Cost Analysis, storage, networking, and monitoring costs when AKS is included in the package.
Can you review Log Analytics and monitoring costs?
Yes. I can review workspace ingestion, retention, table plans, diagnostic settings, duplicate collection, high-volume sources, data collection rules, and opportunities to filter unnecessary telemetry.
Do you support AWS and Google Cloud?
My fixed-price packages focus on Microsoft Azure. I can include AWS or Google Cloud in a custom multi-cloud FinOps engagement after reviewing the account structure, billing exports, services, and required deliverables.
What access do you need?
Cost exports and sanitized reports are enough for many assessments. A deeper review may use temporary read-only access to agreed billing and resource scopes. I do not need passwords, owner access, or production secrets.
Will you purchase reservations or savings plans for me?
No. A commitment creates a financial obligation and remains under the client's approval and purchasing control. I can analyze options and provide a recommendation, but the client completes the purchase.
