FAQ
Can you voice in a different accent?
I can indeed! For a typical voiceover I'd use my natural speaking voice, but if you've got something specific in mind (e.g. a regional variation) then let me know and we can try to find a solution.
Which rights do I need to pay for?
If you're using my VO for paid advertising channels, such as TV, radio or paid internet campaigns (ads on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram etc) then you need broadcast rights. If it's promoting a product or service - e.g. a client website or YouTube explainer video - then it's commercial rights.
My script has fewer than 100 words - can I pay less?
Regardless of how long the script is, it takes me time to set up my studio and record. Bear in mind for a shorter script I can also provide a few takes for you to choose from, but my prices are non-negotiable.
Who have you worked with in the past?
A fair few major international sports organisations! The International Equestrian Federation chose me to explain the rules of dressage at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, and I'm currently the voice of the UEFA-affiliated European Club Association.
Could you also help me write my script?
Absolutely - I have extensive experience in copywriting and journalism, so I'm pretty handy when it comes to writing. Plus I'm a stickler for spelling and grammar, so if you need me to proofread your script then I offer this service too!
Why should I pay extra for a directed session?
You'll be able to direct me via Zoom, which lets you provide input and feedback more immediately - so if you don't (or do!) like my take, you can let me know straight away and provide suggestions rather than just providing some vague notes with the script.
