FAQ
Can you edit in U.K., Canadian, Australian or South African English as well as U.S. English?
I am well versed in all variants of English. I understand the subtle differences that occur within phrases and the differences in the spelling of common words – you are in safe hands!
What kind of editing service do you offer?
I offer a comprehensive dual proofreading and copy-editing service. This complete service is classified as a 'final edit', meaning, after I have reviewed and tweaked your document, it will be ready for publication. I don't offer critique/feedback, but I will add comments/suggestions where relevant.
Do you use MS Word Track Changes feature/functionality?
Yes, I prefer using MS Word Track Changes. It would be necessary for you to be familiar with Track Changes (a 5 minute tutorial video on YouTube will bring you up to speed) in order to for you to view/implement my changes, comments and suggestions. Alternatively I can add comments to PDF documents.
What types of documents can you edit? Word, Pages, PDF?
I can edit any type of document, MS Word, txt documents, WordPad, PDF, Pages or any other file type.
If I have a large manuscript, can I place a sample order first and how soon can you deliver?
I encourage new clients to place a $10 or $20 order to try out my services. If you have a deadline or are keen to publish ASAP, please get in touch prior to ordering for a guaranteed cost and timescales quotation. I look forward to working with you soon.
Can I split a larger order into several smaller orders?
Yes, I am completely flexible - large orders can be split if required.

Ongoing collaborationThis was my second book with Ken and I am reminded why I went back to him (even though it has been over 10 years!). He has a great attention for detail. He caught so many edits that I missed, even though I thought I was giving him a pretty clean manuscript. Love his work — and he is super fast!

Ongoing collaborationKen did an exceptionally fine job with close attention to detail, professionalism, and timely delivery above and beyond. Ken made specific editing suggestions, some relating to the substance and clarity of a complex nonfiction text. I would say Ken is an exceptional editor.
