I will fix stripe subscription billing in your python fastapi app

About this gig
Stripe billing often fails quietly: a missed webhook, a wrongly prorated plan change, or a Customer Portal that allows more than your app expects.
I help SaaS teams set up, troubleshoot and improve Stripe subscription billing in existing Python/FastAPI applications, including React, Next.js, Vue or Angular frontends.
What I work on:
Subscription sign-up with Stripe Checkout or Elements
Webhooks: verifying events and syncing status to your database
Subscription changes and proration
Customer Portal configuration
Monthly/yearly billing, failed-card trials, cancellations and membership sync
Test-mode billing scenarios with Stripe test clocks
How I work:
I review your setup and we agree on one specific deliverable
Test mode first; nothing goes live without your written OK
Access by invite or a restricted API key, never a password
Bigger than the package? I explain what I found and quote first
You get a short note: cause, change, how to check it
For existing apps with a defined need. Not included: SaaS builds, coupons, billing migrations, security audits or unlimited debugging.
Message me with your setup before ordering.

FAQ
Do you work on my live payments?
I build and test in Stripe test mode first. I only change live mode with your written approval, and I tell you exactly what will change beforehand.
What access do you need?
An invite to your code repository, plus either a Stripe team invite with a developer role or a test-mode restricted API key with only the permissions I need. Never passwords. Remove my access when we finish.
Which stacks do you work with?
Python with FastAPI on the backend, and React, Next.js, Vue or Angular on the frontend. If your backend uses another language, message me first and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm a good fit.
What if my problem is bigger than the package?
I pause before going past the package, explain what I found, and send a fixed quote for the rest. You never pay for work you didn't approve. Messaging me first usually avoids this.
Which Stripe features do you work with?
Checkout and Elements payment flows, webhooks, Customer Portal, subscription changes with proration, restricted API keys, and test-mode scenarios with test clocks. I don't build coupon systems, Stripe Tax or Connect.
Checkout or Elements: which should I use?
It depends on your app. Checkout is a payment page hosted by Stripe; Elements puts the payment form inside your React app. I recommend one after reviewing your setup, and the package covers the one we agree on.
How do you test billing without real charges?
In Stripe test mode, with test cards and test events. Where renewal timing matters, I use Stripe test clocks to simulate billing periods, so nothing touches real customers.
How fast do you reply and deliver?
I work in the evenings, Pakistan time (UTC+5), which is UK afternoon and US East morning. I reply within 24 hours, and delivery times are set so I can meet them.
Is my fix covered after delivery?
For 7 calendar days after delivery, I correct at no charge a reproducible defect in my delivered work that directly fails the written acceptance criteria, up to 1h (Basic), 2h (Standard) or 3h (Premium). Not covered: new requirements, unrelated bugs, third-party outages or changes by others.
What do I receive at delivery?
Code changes on a branch or pull request, a short written note (cause, change, how to verify), and the test steps I ran so you can repeat them.
