RudderStack is a customer data platform (CDP) that collects data from your websites and apps, then routes it to all your marketing tools. Unlike Google Tag Manager, you own the data. Unlike Segment, it's more affordable and flexible.
Q: How is this different from Google Tag Manager?
GTM just fires tags on your website. RudderStack captures first-party data YOU own, enables server-side tracking for better accuracy, sends data to your warehouse AND marketing tools simultaneously, and reduces client-side scripts for faster site performance.
Q: Which package do I need for my Shopify store?
For Shopify, you need the PREMIUM package. Ecommerce tracking (orders, revenue, products, cart abandonment) requires custom event implementation and proper data structuring. Basic and Standard packages don't include e-commerce tracking
Q: Can you fix my attribution discrepancies between GA4 and ad platforms?
