FAQ
Do you provide the cloud server and the phone numbers?
No, you will need to purchase your own cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean, Vultr, etc.) and your own SIP trunks/DIDs (Twilio, Telnyx, VoIP.ms). If you aren't sure which providers to use, I can provide the best service based on your expected call volume.
What exactly do I need to provide for you to get started?
I will need SSH (root) access to a fresh, clean Linux VPS (usually Ubuntu or Debian, depending on the PBX platform), and the credentials for your SIP trunk provider to configure the outbound/inbound routing.
Can my team use this phone system remotely or on their mobile phones?
Yes. I can configure the PBX to support softphones (like Zoiper, MicroSIP, or WebRTC) so your agents can make and receive secure calls from anywhere using their laptops or mobile devices.
How do you secure the PBX from hackers and toll fraud?
PBX security is my top priority. I do not leave default ports open. I implement strict firewall rules (iptables), configure Fail2Ban to block brute-force attacks, and can set up IP whitelisting or VPN tunnels so only your authorized agents can access the system.
What if I don't know exactly how many concurrent channels or what server size I need?
Just send me a message before ordering. Tell me how many agents you have and what type of dialing you are doing (e.g., standard office calls vs. heavy predictive dialing), and I will spec out the exact server requirements for you.
