Data that is collected from different websites and forums are very useful for any type of business. They help in targeting the right audience for your business. I have been using Python for web scrapping for years now. I can scrap data from different websites as per told by the client.
Following is my approach to scrapping different websites.
- Study the website's HTML body, understanding its tags and classes.
- Parse the html using BeautifulSoup4. If websites load dynamically use Selenium with it.
- Store the data right type of data as per required by the client.
- Finally transfer it into a readable document such as .CSV or .XLSX
